Erin M. Smith

Praised for her “rich and beautiful voice” (Petoskey News-Review), soprano Erin M. Smith is quickly establishing herself as a versatile and dynamic performer throughout New England. A frequent performer of opera, notable appearances include Adina in L’Elisir d’Amore with Opera Providence, Pamina in The Magic Flute with MetroWest Opera (now MassOpera) and Piccola Opera, Vixen in The Cunning Little Vixen with Boston Opera Collaborative, Contessa in Le Nozze di Figaro with BayView Music Festival, Despina in Cosí fan Tuttewith Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, Donna Elvira in an Educational Tour of Don Giovanni with Cape Cod Opera, and more.

Additionally, Erin has performed as the featured soloist in numerous opera concerts with the Hillyer Festival Orchestra and performed in an educational tour of Mozart opera excerpts with Opera NH. As an advocate for new music, Erin has also performed numerous premieres of newly composed works and presented the Boston premier of Oliver Knussen’s Requiem: Songs for Sue with The Boston New Music Initiative chamber orchestra. Internationally, Erin has studied and performed in Italy and Austria.

Emily Bieber, soprano, is a member of Boston’s King’s Chapel Choir, where she performs frequently as a soloist, most recently in the yearly performance of the abridged Handel’s Messiah and in the Pinkham Centennial Concert of songs for voice and organ. Through King’s Chapel, she has performed solos in Vaughan Williams’ Mass in G minor, Handel’s Esther, CPE Bach’s Musik am Dankfeste, and Mozart’s Exsultate, jubilate. She is an active member of the Boston Baroque chorus, where she has been featured as a choral soloist for Charpentier’s Missa Assumpta est Maria and Vivaldi’s Juditha Triumphans, and covered the role of First Spirit in Die Zauberflöte. Recent stage experience include singing in the ensemble for Iphigenie en Tauride, and performing the role of Adele in Die Fledermaus. She was a regional finalist for the 2019 Talents of the World competition. She lives in Concord, NH, and studies with Brandon Martinez.

Sean Parr

Sean Parr, tenor, has performed many operatic roles throughout Europe and the US., including the title roles in Gounod’s Faust and Massenet’s Werther, Rodolfo in La Bohème, Kaspar in Amahl and the Night Visitors, and Ferrando in Cosí fan tutte. In New England, he has soloed with Raylynmor Opera, Opera North, Opera51, the Irvington Music Festival, Manchester Choral Society, Concord Chorale, and the ProMusica Singers, among others. In concert, he has performed as a tenor soloist in works such as Handel’s Messiah, Respighi’s Laud to the Nativity, Mozart’s Requiem, and Saint-Saëns’s Christmas Oratorio, as well as several Bach cantatas.
